Nadia has been placed with Mujeres Unidas y Activas (MUA), a grassroots organization of Latina immigrant women seeking to promote personal transformation and social and economic justice. Alongside MUA’s Language Access Coordinator, Nadia is able to collect community concerns or needs regarding language access to help those around her. She has conducted and created workshops and updated the resource guides to ensure that those struggling with domestic violence, homelessness, and other difficult situations know of the aid that is available to them.
