Joseline has been placed with Pangea Legal Services, an organization that seeks to serve immigrant communities through direct legal services, including deportation defense. With this organization, Joseline has been given a valuable opportunity in dealing with a variety of cases such as DACA, U-Visas, and asylum applications. As Joseline accompanies clients in their consultations, she is also able to shadow the attorneys and go to court with them to advocate for an individual’s right to stay within the United States. Joseline has also conducted legal research and will be participating in different national immigration reform efforts.
