Ana Morales
Ana Morales was born in Tijuana, Mexico but lived in Michoacan, Mexico until the age of eight when she immigrated to the U.S to reunite with her mother. Upon arriving to the U.S, Ana and her family settled in Costa Mesa, CA where she grew up and completed her elementary and middle/high school education. Currently, she resides in San Francisco, where she is completing her last year of college at San Francisco State University studying Business Administration with a minor in Latina/Latino studies. After college, Ana hopes to return to the city of Costa Mesa and work with the immigrant community residing there.
Ana has been placed with Dolores Street Community Services and is focusing on both new applications and renewals of DACA. To create an environment in which her clientele can easily understand the details of DACA and the process, she has created and helped manage workshops hosted at Dolores Street. Ana is working with Dolores Street to create a comprehensive database for their DACA consultations, processes, and workshops. This will assist them in outreaching to clients who need to renew their DACA status. As Ana would like to become an attorney herself, she will gain experience by shadowing attorneys as she helps DACA recipients, encourages dreamers, and continues to serves as a role model.
